On any hole, you may consider a ball “in-the-hole” if it is within the length of the string from the hole.

You must cut the length of string off from the ball to the edge of the hole and discard it.

You can use the remaining string on the remaining holes.

If your remaining string stretched from the edge of the hole does not reach your ball, it may not be used.
